My Story
Welcome to Mirror Mira, a digital destination for all things travel, wellness, and lifestyle.
I always struggle with about me sections. How do you summarise 24 years of life experience and shaping stories into something so surface-level. But nonetheless, I’ll try to keep this short and sweet.
By name, I’m Mira, pronounced like mirror, but I’ll also turn my head to Miz or Mizza.
By nature, I’m an Aquarius sun, Gemini rising, Taurus moon - always rebelling, always thinking, always evolving.
By passport, I’m an Australian from the sunny Gold Coast, but my heart is bound to see the world, meet new people, and change postcodes regularly.
By job title, you’d typically find me at the digital marketing, social media, or public relations table, but I’ve recently said goodbye to the 9-5 to fulfill my soul's calling for more freedom, adventure, and human connection.
By passion, I’m a dancer, yogi, and occasional writer when inspiration strikes.
I created Mirror Mira in 2016 as a personal creative outlet in between studying and traveling through my uni days. Mind the 2-year hiatus while I was stuck in one country and was blogging to pay the bills instead.
But, I’m back, and my goal remains to inspire people to be the best version of themselves, and to instill a spark of wanderlust and adventure into my readers.
I can’t promise regular posts, but I can promise to always share my truth, in hopes to relate to or inspire someone out there, and always keep an open inbox if you ever want to chat.
I hope Mirror Mira can bring you as much joy as I gain through writing here.
